Toothsome's Top Floor Pit Stop

Since the original location opened in Orlando, "Toothsome's Chocolate Emporium" has been charming guests with its eclectic mix of immersive theme, charming characters, and legitimately great selection of creative comfort food. When the second location opened in Hollywood's CityWalk, it turned Toothsome's into a genuine franchise, and in a way Universal had its own Willy Wonka style IP. Toothsome's Top Floor hopes to expand on the Toothsome lore.

Toothsome's Top Floor Pit Stop will act as a "prequel" of sorts and set in a time line before the Chocolate Emporium. A slightly more youthful Penelope Tinker Toothsome and an older, clunkier, but still just as charming model of her trusted robot assistant Jacques roam the dining area hourly interacting with guests. While Penelope still has a love of chocolate, the big emphasis on her conversations this time around will be road side diners. When she approaches you at your table, expect her to chat you up about your favorite road trip memories, specifically those special "comfort food" pit stops that live in your head rent free.

As far as the timeline goes, this is set about ten years before the opening of the Chocolate Emporium and gives guests a glimpse into the earlier life of Penelope Toothsome as a wily world traveler with a passion for food. The industrial steampunk vibe of the emporium has been swapped out with a restaraunt floor plan that can be described as an acid-washed Norman Rockwell painting. All the classic trappings of a road side diner are on display, from the jukeboxes on the tables to the long bar in the center of the room.

Most prominently is the overload of neon within the design. Neon pinks, blues, and whites line practically every inch of the walls and ceilings in very intricate, artistic patterns. Neon versions of Penelope and Jacques, neon road maps, neon food items, and tons of other points of interest are represented through this marvel of architectural design. The emphasis on neon will be the strongest design element that divides the Top Floor Pit Stop from the Chocolate Emporium.

The other thing dividing the two will be the menu. While the Chocolate Emporium menu goes for a Cheesecake Style "everything and the kitchen sink" approach to their offerings, the Top Floor Pit Stop will slim things down and go for a quality over quantity approach. Breakfast and lunch can be ordered all day, with a more elevated dinner menu mixing the two other menus into a feast of unique comfort food options. The name of the game here is creativity.

The following is a sample selection of menu items. It is not meant to represent the full menu but to give an idea of the creative twists on comfort food.
